Answer: Canada. The Canadian flag, adopted in 1965, features a stylized red maple leaf with eleven points.
Answer: New Zealand. New Zealanders voted to keep their historic flag rather than adopt the proposed new silver fern design.
Answer: 50. One star per state, the last one added in 1960 for Hawaii.
Answer: Japan. The Hinomaru, a red sun disc, symbolizes Japan, the "Land of the Rising Sun."

Answer: The full Moon. It is the full moon, regarded in Palauan culture as the most auspicious time for fishing, harvesting and ceremonies. The blue represents the Pacific Ocean.
Answer: 8. Seven stars represented the provinces that signed the declaration of independence. An eighth, called for by Bolívar for the province of Guayana, was only added in 2006, nearly two centuries later.
